About the Artist
Mr. Scar is an up and coming alternative artist whose unique sound lies in the intersection between indie, alternative, shoegaze, and ambient. Mr. Scar (whose real name is Michael Scarborough), taught himself to play guitar in high school, and began writing songs immediately. 3 years later, he began releasing parody songs for his friends (Ford Truck Month, Aspartame, Imagine Dragon Deez Nutz) as a joke. These songs gained mild traction on YouTube and Spotify, but he is ready for the next level.His new album: Hypnagogia, is a passion project of over 3 years that combines elements of shoegaze, indie, alternative, and pop rock into a sound that is both unique and accessible at the same time. Hypnagogia explores the line between dreams and sleep, finding meaning and purpose between fantasy and reality. Stream now on all platforms.
